The conference is jointly convened by the Asia Research Centre, Australia Research Council Linkage Grant, Murdoch University, and the Indian Ocean World Centre, Major Collaborative Research Initiative, McGill University. It will be held at the Western Australian Maritime Museum, Fremantle, Western Australia, on 12-14 November 2012.
Papers are now being sought for the conference, and a Call for Papers document can be downloaded from the website. Abstracts should be submitted to iow@murdoch.edu.au by no later than 31 December 2011. Questions about the conference can be forwarded to Joseph Christensen at the address below.
